Berlin and the TechStartupJobs Fair 2014

Meine Damen und Herren das Flugzeug fliegt nach Berlin! For those of you who do not speak German, we are flying today to one of the Europe's most developed cities with incredible economic power and fast-growing technology industry - Berlin. The German capital is one of the leading business event locations in the world, often regarded as a symbol of professionalism and quality. For any of the events, there is a wide range of exclusive venues available, starting from the 368 metre high Fernsehenturm (television tower) to the Europe's most modern hotel landscape, welcoming local and international tourists at various prices and diverse settings.

The event we have picked today is called TechStartupJobs Fair 2014 and it is taking place on 14th May this year  from 6pm to 9pm. It is mainly of interest for recent graduates, young professionals and well-developed businesses, hungry for fresh talents, operating in the area of technology. Oh well, we are in Germany after all!

Event Overview

The TechStartupJobs Fair was fist held in London in 2011 and since then it has increased its popularity and influence among the tech community so much, that in 2014 the fair is scheduled to happen three times in three different locations. The first event this year was held again in London in February. Some of the employers recruiting on the fair included Utelly, Just Eat Technology, Search Tribes, Memrise, Explovia, Housing Anywhere and many others. The job fair was launched by TechMeetUps with the idea to create a global network for Tech communities across the world. The aim of the event is to help companies find young, determined and talented individuals with a creative flair and passion for technology, to join their team for profitable development of the business. What is in for the job seekers? An amazing opportunity to start up a fantastic professional job with a 90% possibility of a career growth in their area of expertise.

The Venue

The TechStartupJobs will be hosted by Silvija Jordanovska at the Supermarkt. This is a popular conference and workshop centre in Berlin where professionals and students can exchange thoughts and ideas regarding businesses and personal career development in a friendly and cosy atmosphere. The venue has fully technically equipped conference rooms with up to 150 seats and is able to provide any additional technical support at request. The Supermarkt also provides office and working space for freelancers and start up businesses.
